Hi
Thanks for sending through your design for the games
app.
I've asked our team to take a look at all of the
submissions and provide some feedback. They're
currently working through the submissions now. I
chatted with them briefly this morning and they gave
me some general feedback:
- Some nice ideas and creative layouts
- They felt that some people hadn't looked at the
feedback document and addressed each of the items
- Some applications did not have names and some had
missing content.
- Some applications did not work in prototype mode -
so they couldn’t see how to navigate around the
application.
- Some interesting games! :)
Ok, so next step is to create the master/detail app
using Framework7.
Can you populate the JSON file we sent you with
at least 6 items - your favourite games..
(That means you'll need to add one more object)
As a minimum we'd like name, description and an image
of the game. Try to keep everything local, so no
image requests from the web, as we'll test this on a
device without Internet connectivity.
We'd like to see a main menu, a list of games and a
detail page for the game.
I had a chat with one of your tutors and I understand
you created something similar in one of your modules
- specifically a ‘countries of the world’ example.
In addition to the main screens, can you also add an
about button to the main screen. When the user taps
on it, we'd like the app to show a screen about your
app. Put your full name, a description of the app and
your student email on the page.
Main menu -> List of games -> Detail
Please also create a short screencast showing your
app working in Chrome browser device mode for iPhone
5/SE.
Look forward to seeing what is submitted. I'll look
at the submissions on Friday at 5pm.
